Forgiveness

Forgiveness is to release anger and resentment towards someone who has caused you harm, regardless of whether they deserve it.

For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. - Matthew 26:28Meditation: Do you know that you are in need of forgiveness? You killed the Son of God, we all did for it says - 'But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. ' - Isaiah 53:5-6
And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments. - Luke 23:34
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:8-9
